Are there any problems that come to mind if you

nope. PM veilstylez. he has mine and he's rolling around in a TL-P. The only thing I could think about is lower dragstrip times due to added weight.

The body is all straightened out but it looks pretty freaky seeing only 3/4 of the body in tact. The other 1/4 is being shipped to the shop from the factory. So far for being a unibody, but it looks like ACURA thought about this during their design because then how the hell is the body shop able to get a hold of 1/4 of a car?

So did I...but aperantly the insurance decided it'll be cheaper to fix it than total it since techinically the engine and transmission is still in working order.

Hey Naddy,
To get back on the subject, just make sure you don't get the stock Michelin TL-S tires, they fvcking suck! Almost any Z-Rated tire you find at tirerack.com or a local shop will perform much better, and if you really want decent performance, try a different size, 235/45/17 will work fine and you'll have WAY more choices to pick from, many between $95 and $125 each.

Why do you think I have 19x8's?

Falken makes the ZE-502 in a 215/50/17 that's pretty good.

Another option would be the Ultra-high-performance All-season Sumitomo HTR+ in the 215/50ZR17 size. It is also W-speed rated. W = 168mph, Z=149+mph. It has also a 360 treadwear rating and temperature/traction of AAA. Cost = $84.

A third option would be the Dunlop SP Sport 5000s in the 215/50R17 size. But the cost is $188 per tire. :wow: :wow:

Later...AH
