Type-s shift knob on Non-type s

I really like the type s shift knobs but I dont have a type s car. Would it be dumb to put a type s knob on my car?

Yes. Only bc it says "Type-S" on it. If you painted that emblem or something it would look good.

The TSX auto knob is nice and fits on our cars. I test fit my dads and liked it until he noticed the trade haha

I painted the TypeS emblem on the top satin silver metallic to match my car.

It fits. I have a 02 TL-P and the TL-S shiftknob fit directly on my shifter. I think the TLS shift knobs dont directly fit on the 99-01 models, I could be wrong tho.

On the 99 you have to drill out the threads on the knob then rethread it onto the stalk.

Get a nice momo wood grain one. The leather on it is sweet and looks amazing with the stock wood grain kit

So let me just make sure I get this right. A type-s will not fit onto a 00 TL directly?

It works, so does the TSX knob, and so does the 07-08 TL-S knob.
