Instrument Cluster LIGHTS OUT

ok heres the problem.
Ive recently installed a new head unit. and after i installed it, everytime i turn on my headlights at night my dash board goes blank. everything on the instrument cluster goes out. I switched out the button to change the brightness of the dashlights and that does work. PLEASE HELP!!! I brought the car to a stereo place and they reinstalled the thing so i know now that it is installed properly. so i dont know what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Very very weird. I just put in an after market double din and I have no problems with my dash lights. I would get them to check the install cause you shouldn't have lost power there unless they cut a wire or something

Did you happen to plug in the wire that is for the dimmer of the head unit? i did this before and it fried some wires in my harness

Try checking the fuses. The installers might of burned out some fuses for the instrument cluster.
