Exclamation type s intake manifold on 2000 tl-p

Can i install type s intake manifolds on a 2000 tlp ..... Ive read its been done but only on a 99's model.. but they had to change alot of part like fuel rail injectors. do i got to do same because i got a type s motor laying in the garage and just want to put the intake manifold on mine.. And bout the valve actuator can i just run it through the vtec.....

If you have the motor in your garage i wouldnt waste my time putting the intake on, and would put the whole motor in.

yes u can put it on there it bolts right up just have to get an rpm controlled switch for the IRMC.

valve adjustment should cure the valve noise and since you have the motor out, why not tear it down and see wassup with it?

could be something as simple as valve stem seals

Ill answer you, not your ma.

It will bolt right up. ONLY the 99 needed the different fuel rails and lower manifolds. You (like said above) will need a RPM switch to activate the IMRC though.

Do you have the TypeS throttle body too? TypeS airbox?
That will give you the most gains.

Translation:

Why must you insult my intelligence? Are you taking me as a fool? You see, my heart longs for this mechanical miracle to serve its purpose, but it is smoking like a chimney on a cold December day and the valves are making an atrocious noise. So if you could please put all the banter aside and answer my query?

Why? so you would have to flip it at the right time? Just pick up a RPM switch.

Hooking it to a switch would be just about pointless. So your going to flip the switch on every time you hit 4k? Might as well just keep it open all the time.

Any check engine light?
What you installed should have no effect on the tranny shifting.

Disconnect the battery for 20 minutes?
