After much test driving ('03 Accord, Maxima, G35), I finally picked up my 2003 TL Type-S in WDP with Ebony interior last week. It's awesome.

I noticed the front floor mats do not say "Type-S". Is there somewhere I can get Ebony floor mats that say 3.2 TL Type-S? I'm not looking to advertise too much, but I wanted something else besides the shifter?

 

Those were discountinued a while ago due to copyright infrigment. Good luck finding a set.

 

Hey, CONGRATS on getting your car. I looked for the same mats like i've seen in ??juniorbeans's pics. Anyhow they got the deal on them, discontinued now... Something agout copyright infringement of the "type-s" logo. I sure wish someone would start a production of a "similar" logo again.

Tim from autocarparts.com (this site) may have some Parchment mats left if anyone is interested. Shoot him an email at info@acura-tl.com . I don't think you'll really see these made again unless Acura makes them.... which doesn't seem likely.....

A few things to note....they will say A-Spec on them and will only be available in Ebony since the A-Spec will only be released in Black and Agean Blue.

Well, the Type-S mats don't exist anymore... so it would be pointless to search for pics... however, if you still wish to see them.. a search should yield some results.

As for the new mats.. you can kind of see them in the picture below (very bottom left of the page) of the Shifter..... You can make out the "3.2TL-S A-Spec" writing.....

Thanks for the info. Now I feel kind of dumb buying the one I bought yesterday, but even worse, I wish that d!ck of a dealer would have told me about this.

Did anyone ever find out pricing on it?

Do you think the exterior looks much different ? I'm never good at that kind of thing.

 

It's the same car with the exception of the few cosmetic changes you see in that topic. The only exterior changes are the JDM style spoiler, different rims, side markers, Colored headlight housings and body colored grill. Also, from what I've read the A-Spec is only available in Agean Blue Pearl and Eternal Black... no other colors...

I know that's a long topic.. but if you read through it there are more pics and details....
