type S ???????????

if there is a thread on this already, let me know.. i was wondering if many people take a tlp and convert it to a type s. including mechanics and comsetics. a- spec is too hard to find

ofcourse getting the badges is easy, but i want it all. im not too conserned on the suspension, going afermarket as soon as i get the money. what is the diffrence in the intakes? and will i see a big difference? And has anyone used a factory front lip and purchased the ww sides and rear?

thanks

hope your willing on spending alot of money to try to convert it. your better off buying one unless your willing to swap motors yourself.

Well the only thing I would do as far as a Type S, would be the engine swap and 6 speed. The looks can always come last, but I would do the engine/tranny first dude.

Are you converting from a '07 TL to a '07 TL-S? I think it would save you time and money just to get the '07 TL-S instead. The price range between the regular TL and TL-S is not that big of a difference, probably $2000 to $3000.

The HP is about 28 more in TL-S. It sure is not worth the time and money to swap the engine.

^ Are you trying to be sarcastic? Or just an ass?

FYI, if you want sarcasm, at least change the font to red color.

As others have already posted ... you are better off buying a new car that's a Type-S. Even if you are mechanically inclined, the cost of the parts new is probably more than selling your car and buying a new car. And buying stuff from a junk yard / recycler might be risky.
