A few days ago, I drove my TL to school and back. Then I parked it in the garage. About 20 minutes later, i had to go out again. I put the key in the ignition and it wouldn't start. It would start for like a second and then it would shut off. On the third time it barely started, I had to apply pressure on the gas pedal for it to start... Its been a 4 days now, and it hasn't happend again. Anyone know what happend? or what is the problem?

I had the same problem in my CL...it has happened 2 times now and they were about 4 months apart...

 

Do you have any electrical work done to your car? Ex. Anything hardwired? Last time some poor shmuck hardwired my k40 that happened. Everytime the car got warm, the car just shut off. Cost me 300$.FUCKERS

 

My car will start and stutter and then shut off. It starts fine the next time. Is this something with the Fuel Pressure Reg? or is it the injection system. I believe some people had it here and not sure what it is..or is it ignition.

 

you know you can always clean out your injectors.. that always helps.. get some injector flush.. i like restore 2 in 1.. and read the back.. and basically go double what they tell you to.. so like if it says wait till you have 1/4 gas left.. wait till 1/8 . and then drive your car freeway miles. fill up as late as you can without running out. see if that helps

 

the other day (my car was like 4 days old with just over 200 miles on it) and it took 2 long tries to get my car started. it turned over just didn't start. im bringing it to the dealer. they say they can fix it i think there going to give it back to be and say nothing is wrong like usual

 

i don't have anything done to my car....but i think that Vijay TL is right it's probably has something to do with the fuel system
