Question Transmission Slipping???

I have a '03 Tl-p Navi

Recently I've noticed my transmission kind of slips.
I remember that when I bought my car my transmission was silky smooth, but now i get the shift-shocks, even around 3000rpm.
Could it be something wrong w/ the transmission? or is it just time for me to get new transmission fluid? (i have 15,000miles on my car)

You need a trans transplant most likely, so do not wait too much, go visit your dealer.

hahaha, FUNNY :wow:

what I meant was, should I wait until its gets worse? (because they usually say, "come back when its broken" or "I don't feel it slipping") ya those california mechanics jes are lazy or lie through their teeth.

or do u think since its a transmission prob they'll be up to it??:banghead:

If it really slips do not wait, go there, and simply be persistent.

Unhappy

Hey, thanks for telling me to go to the dealer ne wayz.

On sat morning, I left Downtown LA to Acura of Pasadena on the 110 fwy (If you're from LA you should know that, thats a b!tch fwy)

Anyways, I was on the way to the dealer and my car goes "thump!" and there goes my transmission... it was friekey but I managed to pull over to the side and press the Onstar button for help.

My 7mo old car is stuck in the shop for a WEEK!!! damn it!

my 99 3.2 TL was slipping too. my problem was greater because my warranty expired!!!! After convincing them that it was their fault (AND that we complained before the warranty was over) they replaced the whole thing. not a brand new one, a rebuilt one. Can't really complain but I have a sad feeling I will have to replace this one within 3 years as well.

They are remanufactured trannys, which is good.

Good luck.

copland07> I see... Hey, On ur profile, it says you lemoned your car... I thought you can only lemon cars if the prob happens when the car has less than 15K miles on the car?

Also, did u have to pay for the milage on the car when you got your car lemoned?
