i have a question about the 5 spd sporttronic transmissions in the 2g TL-S's. Have any of you noticed that the only time you can get into first is off the line, after that you can't downshift into 1st unless you come to a complete stop. So i was wondering if theres any way to disengauge this so the TL-S can be a little more fun, a wire to cut, a fuse to pull...anyone...?

 

I don't know if you'll want to do that because our tranny already have problems to begin with... But someone might have an answer for you as to whether it is a good idea or not.
