Has anyone experienced this? Your stuck in bumper to bumper traffic and your going down hill and traffic starts moving slowly and you release your brake to move farward without using your accelarator and your car pops into second gear with a hard jerk.

 

mine sometimes does the opposite. When going down a hill, if I'm doing like 60 km/h and I have my foot on the brake ever so slightly for like 10 seconds, the car will jerk forward as it gears down to help slow down.

It's a 2003. I purchased it in August and have a little over 2K miles on it.

 

ya, i do too! (notice it) I think it's a combo of "grade logic" and prehaps a bit of rough shifting from overheated tranny fluid. Does it seem to get worse after she get hot? I think mine does.
Can we say tranny cooler please?
