I recently was in a minor accident . Was hit in passenger front door. Now have to shift manually and only shifts once. Select shift isn't working and D5 is flashing. Any ideas?

 

Your description is a little vague. What does only shifts once mean?

Is the check engine light on? If so, need the code

 

D5 flashing indicates a problem with the transmission. Typically this corresponds with a check engine light. If the light is on, we need the code to help you further.

If I come to a complete stop and manually put in 2 . It will take off normal ish and can get up to 30 mph then if I shift to any other D gears it will shift and I can do 65mph atabout2500 rpm

 

Okay this is a potential sign that your trans is on its way out. However there are some corrective actions you might be able to take that tend to work for some people.

First I'd change your transmission fluid. 3x drain and fill with 3 quarts, Honda DW-1 ONLY.
Change the spin-on filter on the transmission. I think they're ~$25 at a parts store.
Clean the solenoids on your transmission. There are lots of DIY for all of these items on this forum.
