tranny is worrying me....

Ok so after reading all of the posts on this forum about tranny problems, i started to notice that my 99 TL jerks back when goin from first to second, same thing second to third. It just doesnt feel like a smooth transistion to me. I dont know if im just being paranoid after reading how different TL drivers go through 2 or 3 different transmisions, or if this could be an actual problem later on. Either way im not feelin to confident.

there was a post here a couple days ago that a guy said he had a 99 tranny which failed and was covered in a 100,000 warrenty extension.

How many miles? Could just be that your transmission fluid is in need of changing. Hard shifts are sometimes a sign of this.

I wouldn't worry too much about the tranny either ... Spend all your time worrying about it, and you'll never enjoy the car!
