I have a 2000 TL with 64k miles on it. I do engage the parking brake verytime i park. (uphill, downhill doesn't matter) I was told to buy an aftermarket trans cooler (B&M) and run synthetic transmission oil (mobile 1, royal purple etc) Then i read the owners manual and that suggested to only Use Honda certified oil and trans fluid.

Has anyone used a cooler and synthetic fluid.

Should I do it or just stick to honda stuff??

Hello guys, first time poster here and new to the forums. I just purchased a 2002 Acura 3.2 TL. The transmission was replaced in mine at 100k miles in August of 2005. Based on what I have read on the forum this transmission 'should' have the fixes in place from Acura (the built-in 2nd gear cooler). How can I verify this? Is it something I can see by looking under the car? If so is there anywa someone could snap a pic and post it? Any help would be much appreciated.
