Tranny oil
ok i have been using all honda oil for my car since i bought them new, and now my car has installed the oil jet kit to my tranny
and now with all the extra power i got i properly need some gd tranny oil to hold up my tranny for a long time
i have talked to my mech at the tuner shop and he recommends 2 methods
1. keep using honda ATF, but mixed with the LUCAS lubricant and it helps the car prevent slipping. good for daily aggressive driving
2. swapped out the honda ATF oil for MOTUL ATF oil, they are good for track racing too
i have heard good reviews on the Lucas products, but wondering if they will really help coz it will make the oil thicker
and the mech told me MOTUL ATF is very gd coz he did have an Auto Accord and the tranny was slipping, after using the MOTUL it stopped slipping and they are running strong since
anyone can share some thoughts? thanks

I have Motul brake fluid...but use Redline ATF (synthetic). Prior to the switch to Redline, I'm assuming the previous owner ran Honda fluid from the get-go. I didn't change for the hell of it either -- t'was time to flush the fluid anyway, so just had to decide what I'd go with.
Acura Woodbine will use Redline upon request, so I figure there can't be any issues should anything ever arise between the recommended Genuine Honda fluid vs. Redline ...in regards to any possible tranny problems.

just went to garage today and they do have amsoil, but he told me not really worth that much since Motul is gd enough and a lot cheaper
he quoted me only 40 CAD to swap out the Motu full synthenticl ATF, Amsoil costs more than that
he doesn't recommend Redline however
