Tranny jerking ? what do i do?

Hey guys, my tranny is jerking. When im driving on d5 and i press the gas then like when im at 50 and let go of the gas eventually when its starts shifting down it seems like it gets stuck in the middle of 2 gears. i cant hear anything but it jerks

ive been 2 the dealer with this problem like for the 5th time and they test drive and say they cant find anything. im taking it again to the dealer sat? what should i do? is this a prob?

They will not fix it if the problem is not obvious. Can you duplicate the problem and did you show them how it is behaving? Chances they will not fix it if it is not broken.

At 50 mph in D5 it may be the torque converter locking/unlocking. That creates what i thought was a tranny problem at first.

it only happend in d5 and low speed.

Part of the problem may be that your in 5th at 50. If your just barley getting to that speed and then having to let off or slo down, try just keeping it in 4th

Hmmm - I wonder if that is what I've been feeling. I have had a 2003 TLS for under three months now. The original tranny feels just fine (72,000miles) overall but every now and then i feel a slight jerk and of course I'm instantly paranoid. I always think I should keep it in fourth until I'm on the interstate, but I always think it's bad to switch from D4 to D5 while driving. (I never use the sport shifter thing)
