anyone know what kind to use for a 99?

Honda/Acura ATF is what I use, others use different brands but they gotta be tranny friendly

Go to the honda dealer, it's a lil cheaper than the Acura dealership. Honda ATF Z1 fluid ONLY. You will need 3 quarts to do a fluid change, 9 if you do the 3x3 drain/refill.

Yup, ATF-Z1. I bought it on ebay, $40 for 12 quarts.

While your at it, you should do the seafoam treatment. Get the can "Deep Creep" for the vac port. It's much easier and less messy then doing it from the can. Get the can and dump it in half a tank of gas and run it close to empty, then fill up with half a tank again and do the same. It will increase your mileage significantly, and clean out the entire fuel system and combustion chambers. Pep boys has it.

yeap honda cheaper by far. just bought mine today 6.69$ a quart from honda and 7.35$ from the Acura dealership not to mention the gas in millage difference because Acura is a distance for me.
