After 2 long weeks, I finally got my car back from PAA. I've been driving the POS saturn loaner for the past week and as soon as I got in my car, I was like The car felt like it was on steriods! Well, hopefully this tranny will hold up, if not, Bimmers here I come.

 

haha congrats on getting it back, with what seems more power i guess. Either way your gonna be happy, TL or 330?? most likey?

typeSdragon, how many miles did your last tranny have? did acura whine about the tranny problem too?

(Im getting awfully worried and hope that acura doesnt turn me down if it does happen)

I have 26k miles on my when my original tranny failed. I called Acura Client Services the next day and explained my aggravation and dissappointment. They helped me get a bigger loaner car and speed up the process of getting the replacment tranny. But they didn't admit that there is any wrong with their trannies. All they said was that it is a machine and machine breaks down... WTF!

 

man all these dam Tranny Problems.. so far so good with my car but as soon as that Happens.. its over........German Cars here i come also........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

so i guess your back to pimping again in your TL

 

Sh*t! I was pimping with my Saturn yesterday, but I think I like the TL better.

 

Hope they used the new tranny with newly designed 3rd gear clutch packs. They are using them as a response to the vast numbers o accords, tl, cl and odesseys that had tranny failures.

 

Congratz man...........nice to hear you got your car back! Now it's time to consider selling it.

haha beware German car have there own share of problems. I know I had a 97 540i and loooooooooooooong repair list. But I love the car
