This is a low ball offer for that many miles and NAVI. I saw a similar certified TL-S w/ navi with low miles like yours go for 24,999 at the dealer.

With your mileage & Navi TL-S, they should offer you close to 20K. But as you know they will offer you as little as they can so they can profit most.

What a dealer sells them for is much different than the trade-in value. You will always get the least amount of money for your car via a trade-in.

Exactly,

So I'm gonna agree with that trade-in value

why do want to trade in such a new car? replacing? not satisfied? all cars will depreciate and its much more cash effective to use a car than to be trading in every 2 years. my .02.

and 17500 is way too low. See if you can sell privately and probably get around 22Gs if not more.

Agreed. If your planning on getting a new car, it would be the same as flushing you rmoney down the toliet. Keep the TL!

That stinks. End of Sept. I got 14k for my '00tl/no nav. with 39k miles. The salesman appologized that the price was so low. I paid sl. less than 28k when the car was new.

Be tough, and be willing to walk away. It also helps to visit multiple dealers to play them against one another. Take the approach that if they want your car at wholesale, they can sell theirs to you at wholesale. If they demand retail, expect close to the same. Somewhere in the middle they can make a reasonable profit and you can avoid being screwed.
