any1 got good deals on that AEM V2 intake? best i found so far is 240$ shipd

comptech doesnt = god

go with a regular aem cai .. the v2 doesnt seem to produce as good gains as the regular one one our cats for dsom reason

AEM claims the V2 to be superior to the regular AEM CAI. I have the V2.. I'm thinking about swapping it for an icebox.

^^ Yup.

It hums too loudly at idle... sounds great when the car's in motion though.. awesome roar at WOT.

dude your not "going to be heard" with an intake...unless you floor it. So just take it from everyone, if you want some sound - get a CAI or for some more power (and more money) get the V2

Supposedly, the AEM V2 makes the most gains out of all the CAIs. IMO, they all should make similar gains.
