V2 is an awesome CAI. When it's cold outside it is extremely effective and when the vtec kicks in the V2 roars and gives your car a good amount of power. I have one in my TL-P, but the bad news, I don't think they make one for a type-s.

I have the V2.. if you don't mind a loud humming noise at idle, it's a great intake.

search nex time bro! this has been covered in detail quite a bit. but basically AEM claims that the V2 provides the most gains out of all but from what ive heard there is excessive hum at idle. But if you like the noise go for it! but id personally, as samwks said, go w/the Icebox, cant go wrong w/comptech.

They currently don't make one for the type-s, but I think it can be modified to fit.
