Traction Control
How well is your Acura TL's traction control? My sucks. Ontario had a snow strom for the past 2 days and my car was slipping and sliding like crazy. ABS works very well, but TCS sucked.
Am I the only one?

OH BRO!!!!!!!!! I FEEL YOU MAN!!!!
My performance all season was making me slide all over the place yesterday...
TCS sucks... it's BS... ABS... works in a way that you will not lose control and spun out during braking.... (but if you tap the brake just once... then the weight transfer might spun you out)
my ABS will not allow me to turn left, right yesterday... and had a little accident...
They didn't spray salt and clean up the road has a lot to do with it, too...
lousy government....

TCS only engages at under 40 km/h. You can hear it enable with the whirring and clicking in your wheels. It's pretty good with traction actually, it helps your car from sliding when you're accelerating from a stop on ground covered in snow.

But then I found the TCS pretty helpful when you are making an aggressive left turn from stop. I'd not say the TCS is not useful, but with stock all season, I don't expect too much of a difference anyway

I agree. TCS is more of a pain than good sometimes. VSA is a different story.
The only thing TCS does is apply the brakes on the two front wheels for you.

Love my acura with the exception of TCS

like the EVO VII, yes it's a 4WD, can't compare, but the idea is that it's a more active system. When you start to under/oversteer, it will redistribute the powers bettween inner/outter wheels. A much more active setup, you won't lose as much time as compared to all those ESP/DSC on the audi/bimmer/MB. They are just cutting off fuels, and brake different wheels, that slows down the car.
