Make sure you retorque it after a few hundred miles. I found out the hard way and lost one of my wheel locks. And I did torque the lugs at 80 ft lbs.

I torque mine to 90 ft/lbs any time I take off the lugs. And re-torque them after driving twenty-five miles, not a few hundred!

Using a torque wrench or torque stick and air gun and tightening the lugs to 80 ft/lbs in a cross pattern is the best thing you can do to help avoid the dreaded brake pulsation too!

you're not supposed to use an impact wrench (air gun) to tighten them.

I got a speed wrench from a local Discount Tire... its a hand lug wrench where, once the lug has been broken free, you just spin the handles and it takes it fof real quick. Only cost $20.

That's what they use at the dealer. Torque means nothing to them!! Though I gotta admit I like the sound of it. Psssh pssssssh

Thanks.

I did torque it at 80 ft lbs in a cross pattern. I been driving it for about 100 miles now... I guess time to re-torque it then.

By the way, I got my Alstald I in now. Will get pics in soon. My TL is now a clone of StreetEffectz's TL with a minor different. For now check Ron's TL pics and you see mine
