torque/DIY for spark plugs?

i searched and actually found two answers:

28 and 7-8 ....???

which one is it? i just got a set of NGK iridiums from ebay. i will be installing this tomorrow and decided to go to autozone b/c they loan tools.

does anybody know the torque for our wheel lugs? i changed my tires quite a few times and just really tightened them on w/o a torque wrench..

btw, i don't have a manual... that's why i don't know anything. can someone post the PROPER step my step DIY for installing the plugs.. i read somewhere you have to have some sort of gel? what is it and why?

13lb-ft for the spark plugs and 80lb-ft for the lugnuts

not really, i READ this

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ght=spark+plug

and l LOOKED at this

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ght=spark+plug

pretty easy.. but what really helped was this tool i used... called a swivle head spark plug remover. perfect tool. it made getting ALL the plugs out easy, even the hardest one (the one in the upper left corner). only like 5$ at advaced auto part. i'll try to post a pic of it. it has a blue handle..

BTW- What is all this I was reading about tightening the plugs to a certain torque? What does that mean and how do I do that?

every 'plug', screws, bolts, lugnuts, have a certain torque setting. meaning they are tightened just the right amount, not to loose, but not to tight.

over tightening can cause problems, for instance over tightening your lugnuts, they can cause your rotors to warp easier/faster.

you can all this this w/ a torque wrench about 20$ at sears. about the best tool investment anyone could do.
