Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to send out the word that I have been in touch with Woodbine Acura. Spoke to Paul (mngr of parts dept) and he has confirmed that Comptech will honour their warranty (had my springs installed june 2003) and will REPLACE my springs for the new generation ones (black), labour INCLUDED.

I told them there is rusting on the rear springs yet the front ones are still good. Nevertheless, they will replace the whole set of 4. While the springs are being replaced, I am strongly considering changing my OEM Type-S shocks for aftermarket shocks (eg Koni Yellows).

My appointment for replacement is the w/e of Sept 25th. Shipment of the new generation CT springs should arrive next week (sept 16th or so).

There's a couple of members with used CT springs out of warranty -- no word on what help Paul can provide. Probably think they're SOL.

 

Good to hear, Derrick. Yeah, if you can swing the cash, then you might as well put aftermarket struts on, too.

mine are little over a year old and they are starting to rust.

did you send Comptech pictures of the springs?.

 

When I talked with Comptech they requested copies of my purchase receipts.

 

i got the receipt.

i talked to Joe S at comptech.

i am going to send pics.

hopefully they'll replace them.
