Other posts have said that the WDP appeared to be a higher quality paint. The silver looks great but a grey-tinted car is one of the least safe for other drivers to see at night. Full disclosure: I just bot a WDP w/parchment.

Silver all the way.
No offence to WDP owners, but whenever I see a white car, I think "refrigerator". Of course there are exceptions (Hi Snook! Hi Streetz! ) Honestly, modded white TL's look so much better, but to leave it plain, I just don't like the color.

I love my Silver TL!

Just my $.02

I'm an elderly banker. Other than de-badging the entire rear, I'm not doing much to the car. I want some Lexus and Bimmer owners to wonder what just dusted them.

I would go for silver. It is a classic color and will look great even when dirty.

In Canada we have WDP but only with Parchment interior. If the WDP came with an ebony interior, I would probably go for it as my current 99 TL is silver and would be a change for me, even though the TL-S would be a significant upgrade already.

I have to say Silver. It is sporty and elegant. You can say it is an all purpose color. I love my Silver TL-S.

I vote for the WDP. I think silver is totally played out. It is a good color and all, but I see more silver cars on the road today than any other color. There are 7 cars in my family and five are silver. I have yet to see a WDP TL anywhere, except on the dealers lot. I think it looks sharp.

I test drove the silver/ebony, don't know if I like the ebony interior, too much black. They had a WDP/parchment in showroom, VERY nice. I'm leaning to that one myself. Don't know if it looks to femaleish.

I LOVE white cars, but to me, WDP doesn't qualify as one. It's not a pure white - too much ivory or pearl or whatever it is they call that color. I'm trying to decide between black and silver, but I'm leaning towards silver.

One other thing about WDP and it's variations across different manufacturers - a body shop guy once told me that it's the absolute hardest color to match if you have to have any paint work done. He told me that someone once brought in a barely new WDP-shaded vehicle that their kid had scratched from one end of the vehicle to the other with his bike in the garage. The dealer paint shop could not match the paint even though the car was brand new. Could have been an idiot paint guy, but the body shop guy says that it's the paint.

Of course, if you don't need any painting done, this isn't an issue!

When I see a white car I think "fleet" car. I have a white 325i that I'm gonna trade in for a silver(probably) TL-S.

Sorry I don't think WDP would make you look any better.

You knew I'd vote silver.

I would go for the Silver, I did. When I see a white car, I think "rental".

I like the WDP as well. Test drove a Silver TL-S w/Ebony interior, but fell in love with the WDP/Parchment. For what it's worth, most of the salesman I spoke with including the manager at the dealership liked the WDP the best.

Among the two colors in question, I prefer the Silver...even though it has become too common. I prefer the Naples Gold the best, however. But for the interior, I prefer the Parchment...the ebony gives a funereal look to the interior.

just my 2c

Hi, This is my first post on this forum. You may recognize my userid if you follow the Edmund's Town Hall Forums. I have been fairly active over there for a while.

I like the WDP because of the interior choice. Prefer the Parchment interior over the Ebony big time. In my opinion the WDP with Parchment rocks.
