this guy in my school has a 97 supra which he bought used and he thinks he's all big because of it...and im telling him its crap cause its n/a and an auto...he's got a bucn of cheap mods on it like a 200 dollar system from circuit city...and a 60 dolar intake..stuff like that...so naturaly we mke fun of him. the only real thing he ahs on his car is a greddy exhaust....do you think i cna take him?

fm what i know, supra did come out one which is non-turbo. if that's the case, u might have a chance. otherwise, don't even think about it.

 

he just said it was n/a and auto. learn to read people.
intake and exhaust on a n/a car really doesnt do much, and if i remember correctly the n/a supra is in the 7 second range 0-60, so yes, with a decent launch u should beat him.

so what its a SUPRA twin turbo or not. Seems like this guy is not a turbo so you can run with it. If it IS turbo still run with it just to see how you stand with a supra so next youll know but RUN with this Supra you might just win

The answer is yes...I have a friend that I used to work with that has a Red '97 auto Supra--and it had no mods at all. I easily took him when my TL-S was stock a few times without much effort. In fact, he has a '01 A4, stick quattro with a chip that he says is even faster...
I never ran with his Audi, so I dunno about that...

Racing 0-60, the NA supra will not have a chance. The car is very heavy. You will have more fun racing it from @30mph on.
