TL and Type S Badge Placement

The body shop that did the repairs on my car has placed the TL and Type S badges incorrectly. Does anyone have the correct placement location, preferrably with dimensions? I will just do it myself instead of taking it back to them.

Also, does Kragen carry the 3m emblem adhesive?

Last question. What is the recommended way to remove the emblems of the car without doing damage.

Thanks in advance.

Fishing Line

Use a piece of fishing line. Slide it behind the emblem and then just pull it back and forth with some downward pressure. AFter the emblem is off, remove the remaining adhesive.

Nope... Goo Gone should be fine. I actually used Terpantine (sp?) to remove the remaining adhesive. Just use it, wipe it off, then wax the area.

To re-stick it 3M sells an emblem and trim double-sided tape to re-apply whatever you need to....

IMO.....Rice, total rice.

Bottom line...if it's not a Type-R model.. it shouldn't say Type-R anywhere. Again, just my opinion.

just remove the 3.2TL Type-S badges and put them somewhere else. i put my 3.2TL Type-S sign below my passenger airbag between the 2 air vents. all my friends said it looke like it was stock and that it looked good. i think someone on this board has it the same. and the back looks much cleaner without it.

Hey does anyone know if I have to remove my emblems when I install my Mugen spoiler? Also have anyone modded a mugen wing so that you don't have to remove the emblem?
