thanks... 6000k looks cool when there's snow on the ground...brings out that purple/bluish hue

 

How many inches of the white stuff did you get in VA? I got about 4 inches here in MD. I can't wait to drive 495/95 S. this afternoon!

thanks we got about 5 to 6 inches here... I495 was hell this morning...i was sliding around 4 lanes like a fat kid on skates.

I've tried so many times to capture the 6000K effect on camera, but fail every time. Its very hard but you've seem to have done it perfectly!! I love the way it looks and rarely get to look at it from a far distance. I LOVE IT!! Now... what about some fogs to complete it!

 

yea before i took the shot. i lowered shutter time and exposure

P.S. - When are we D.C. folks going to get together for a meet? I think we should look into some time in late March, early April. I had something going a few month's ago, but I am in the middle of a, shall I say, "nasty" divorce. I have to dedicate the majority of my time to the military and my daughter and soon-to-be ex-wife.
