Is it true you can see the orange bulb? I have inspire tails and you can't see the bulbs they are hidden in a translucent plastic case.

Picking up my lights this afternoon... $290-w/ tax included, low price due to my salesman hooking it up... Glad I waited & saved the $200-... My car is Silver so it should really make a big difference in the appearance of the car, can't wait...

Well I wouldn't say that, I'd say that Michael (1999TL) has had his Inspire lights a year and a half now. That's more than most of us have had our cars. He's got his $200 worth out of them all right. Its just like saying you feel sorry for the 99's that should have waited for 00's or the 01's that should have waited for the 02's...

Not necessarily...

My dealer said 166 per light plus tax, so around $350 but I'd have to wait at least 6 mos before he could sell them. Some people would rather have them now for an extra $150.

If anyone knows how to get them faster, I'm definitely interested.

I would do it again, It was original, and everyone looked at my car wondering what it was.
I don't feel sad about the money at all, but it is sad that its not original anymore....

SilverBullet,

I'm with Chiawei. I'm on the peninsula and was wondering if you could hook us up. I'm sure me and Chiawei would be willing to hike it up to 300 so you can make 20 bucks! Thats almost another fill up!

Bbq and a meet along with a secretive transaction of personal checks and tails in a dark alley sounds good to me. I say peninsula too. How about somewhere around here? Close to the 280 and the 101?

Hey does the turnsignal conector plug and twist snug or do the new TL s have a different wiring harness shape on the turn signal? What bulb number do the TLS lights use for their turn signals? It must be different because they dont make one that fits in our current TL that is orange in the US.

I am not sure, that is one of the problems I ran into last night, so all I did was push in the bulb & twist as many times as I could until the socket would lock in... The drivers side tailight is the pain because of that wire box that you have to unscrew... But everything else is a good fit, I don't know about the bulbs coming in yellow in that style. I'm actually looking for some PIAA or Raybrig platnium whites to replace them with... I can see the fix-it tickets now...

Hey I'm down for where eva...
Not like I have to walk..

We should think about another meet... especially since the wheather is getting really nice now! Sometime late April maybe?

Hey Silver, Can I (we) get a hookup with the 02 tails? If so, I'll bring some Palabok!

Wassup Bro... don't really like palabok, just bring some pancit bihon. Called my friend @ parts, unfortunately the price I got it for was w/ his discount & the salesman discount. As I told Chiawei, the best price I might be able to get it for now is about $320-, with probably a 48 hr. turn around time if they have it in stock. It is still cheaper than what the actual dealer is charging for them @ 166.85 each, plus tax... Well let me know what's up? I'm sorry, I'm not shipping these out...

Its all good!
Still, any discount would be cool, but don't put yourself to too much trouble. I'm gonna try my salesman later this week.

OT: Pancit Bihon is Sarap too! My Fiancee is Piany, I'm not but I love the all the foods. :P

I got a bulb that two fillaments light at the same time unlike the normal turn sig bulb that has one. I had to modify the base and I got sylvania cause they don't paint it yellow, the glass is yellow.
