TL-S Passenger seat

My wife complains that the passenger seat in our TL S is too low and can't be raised. We had an RL until 2 weeks ago and she found the seat was more comfortable (higher) I am told by the dealer that the seat can't be raised. Any one have an idea for correction??

You could raise the seat by doing some custom work to it. For example, you could get some wood blocks and mount them under the current seat rails, then put longer, stronger bolts to hold the seat down. I wouldn't recommend doing that to your car though...just an option.

Another possiblity would be to swap your Type-S seats with someone who has non-S seats. I think the non-S seats may be a bit higher than the type-S ones...

You sit on the passenger side and let your wife drive the car. This way she can raise the seat as high as she likes until she hits the headliner.

There's always the back seats that she can go to.

How about getting the drivers seat rails, the power seat switches and the up/down motors (there are two of them) for the right hand drive 3.2TL/Saber/Inspire? Do you think it'll work?

Sports car? No. Entry level Luxuary with sportiness? Yes. Juust let the wifey get use to it. BTW what does she want to do, look out the window? My girl complains of my seats being too firm, because she has cheap-o cloth in her galant. Imagine if i had an S.

Why will it not fit? If you can obtain the rail from an inspire the controls will be on the correct side. What is the problem?

Passenger seat Height

Thanks to all who replyed. I mentioned a booster pad but she says no. She will just have to get used to it. Still better than any other car for the price!:o
