I am confused. I took in my '03 Tl-s for amongst other things, the recall for the water pump/timing belt. When I get the car back, the only thing listed is a safety recall to replace the ignition switch. What's up with this?

I just had the ignition switch recall done on my 97 Accord. The recall notice said ignition switch replacement for 97-99 Accord, I don't know if TL has the same thing???

 

I am pretty sure it's only for the 99 TL.

 

Well I THOUGHT my dealership, Pohanka In N. Virginia, was supposed to be a good dealer. Unfortunately, they must all be somewhat incompetent in the service department. I called about the recall, and they ended up doing the wrong recall service on my car. I dont see how the service managers, mechanics and even the parts people didn't know what recall to do on a TL. So now I have to take my car back again. And the first time, I got a disgustingly dirty Integra as a loaner for 4 days. Not very happy with their post-sale service at all to this point. Lets just say I better get at least a clean and better loaner or Im not gonna go back to them anymore.
