Hi all I have search online for aem cai for my 02 type-s but told will not fit with foglights.is there anyone here have a aem cai on their tl w/foglights? and what kind of mod to make it fit? THANKS IN ADVANCE

i see knowone responded yet so ill tell ya.. i got the aem cai in grey w/out the bypass and it fit fine didnt have to move or modify anything. if u want a pic drop me ur email n ill show ya

I believe I read somewhere that you might have to cut a small amount of the pipe off where the filter attaches to it. It seems it's a bit too long and bumps into the DS fog light.

So which mean the AEM CAI is not fit on our TL-S at all??(without cutting anything)

MY AEM CAI fitted perfectly. I didn't have to cut anything/move anything. But I also heard horror stories that some people had to cut up to 2-3 inches. So I dunno, maybe i'm just lucky mine went in flush.

I cut 4 inches off.

I also had to cut mine off, about 5 inches.

which year of TL you had??

I have an 03 TL-P. Dont think theres a difference except width of the piping but mine fit perfectly...and if you do have to cut it, its not a big deal, its just a pipe.

By the way, don't even bother calling AEM about the bad fitment. I called them on the spot and talked to a technical representative who told me, and I quote him, "I don't have time to sit here and listen to people complain about fitment problems."

He took down my information and said that AEM will call me if they came up with a solution to the problem; this was like 2 years ago. Whatever. I just hope that's not the level of support I will get when I get the AEM EMS.

Not trying to be sarcastic...Why would you expect better support on any other product from AEM?

so i guess i will try my luck with the AEM CAI sounds like all the intake comes in different sizes
