Question TL-P and TL-S difference?

I have a question about the TL-P. I have a stock TL-P without a navi. Only mod is yokohama tired and i was wondering. What is the difference (power wise) between these two. I know the S has 260 HP and the P has 225HP. But what does the S have that the S doesnt that it cant make up for. Like, i dunno if i make sence but... Say, i have a TL-P and I have a TL-S and i put the exact same parts in it, would the S have more power still? And if so, what gives it more power? Because i want to modify my TL-P when i get it and i was wondering if i could get my TL-P faster than the 2004+ and like the Impala SS and other cars like that. Thanks

Do a search - there are many threads that detail the differences between the TL-P and TL-S.

You will have a hard time getting a TL-P to be faster than a 2004 TL. You can probably get it close - but not faster.

Now.... a nicely modded auto TL-S can keep up with a 6 speed 2004+.

that's cool my 13 yr old acura admirer. the tl-s has cylinder sleeve inserts that repell heat well, a higher redline 6900 compared to 6250, dual stage intake manifold, sportier cams, slightly larger exhaust piping, the throttle body is also a little bigger as is the intake hose. as far as making a tl-p faster than an 04 TL. that can be done. intake/headers/crank pulley/exhaust/spacers and lightweight rims and a tl-p will be faster than an auto 04 TL and will "feel" a lot faster. now the new impala SS will toast a tl-p unless you have all the bolt ons and a supercharger or a nitrous kit.
