DIY repair! Much cheaper that replacing those things. It's only the glass right? Lexan works better imo. There's a DIY somewhere. Lexan, dremel, and silicone is all you need.

Doesn't Lexan ones melt with 9006 lights after awhile?

I am also curious with vtec260.....

I also read that regarding one of the users here, don't remember the link, but he said that after a year or so, his lexan fog light lenses were melted. I don't think he uses it all the time either like myself.

I have had my lexan lens replacements in for almost 2 years now and leave them on all day long! Got'em on ebay, (look for the flourescent green background). They are still crystal clear, no signs of melting. one of them has a slight ding in it were a big ol rock hammered it. I asked about HID bulbs but the seller recommended using the factory ones, so I just kept them in.

You have the link to where you got your lexan lenses? Still clear and no melting after 2 years sounds great. Wonder why other's are melting. Did they get or were sold the wrong ones?

Why did the seller not recommend HID lights?

Thumbs up acura tl fog light lenses on ebay

I can't speak for the other sellers product, but I bought from the seller with the fluorescent green border around the Acura TL picture (ebay ID: d0ubler) since it was the best price and no negatives:
http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQ...QQsassZd0ubler

Snippet from the auction:
What is so good about this MR-10 LEXANŽ and can I get it at my local hardware store? LEXANŽ MR-10 is perfectly clear and virtually unbreakable. It has 250x the impact strength of glass, it's UV resistant and won't yellow like the cheap Lexan! Hardware stores do not carry MR-10. It is only sold by specialty plastic distributors and working with it requires special tooling.

Considering the seller has perfect feedback, the lexan still has the MR-10 labeled protective film on it when you get it, and my experience, you have to assume the MR-10 Lexan doesn't melt! I got em in 2 days and they only took 45 minute to install both! Once you do one, the other is a breeze.

If that other link doesn't work, here is a direct one:

After you replace the glass lens, it'll crack again once it gets hit head-on by anything on the road. Replace the lenses with lexan if you plan on keeping the car.
