I live in Toronto, and was wondering what the "acceptable" limit for tints is? Tints will probably be my first mod, and want to go to a level that will not put me in a situation causing me to get a ticket?

Does anyone know the legal % limit. Also what's the "acceptable" limit that most cops will not question?

You can get away with 35%

 

35% is alway safe. That is what I have..

It light during the day and a bit dark at night but not to dark that it looks like your trying to hide something...

 

hey tatewaki, I noticed that your TL has tints, but you don't list it under your mods. Obviously it's a pretty common mod.

I just got 5% limo tint on my mine about a week ago wish me luck,it lookss niceee, u cant see **** at nite even if u put ur face up to the windows and ur hands around ur face, durings the day u cant see nothin unless u go really close then u can see like outline of the seats, hopefully i wont get no ticket for these

35 percent are a waste at least get 20 percent - just my .02

i got 20%.... when you pull next to cops, open the sunroof and let light in....

 

35% is perfect. anything darker will get you a ticket
