any shops that is really good in the so cal area?

I got my tint done at vip center in monrovia. Its a little expensive but they do a nice job backed by a 5 year warranty. I payed $120 all around. You can find it for cheaper but I've seen too many tint jobs mess up

I got mine done at this shop called "Five Star Window Tint". It is located on PCH at Hawthorn in Torrance, CA. They do really good job but it's a bit expensive. I paid 180 bucks to do all around and it comes with lifetime warranty.

No, I've never heard of J&J before. Several of my friends got their windows tinted at Five Star and they were extremely pleased with their job. And that's why I went. I'd say I'm pleased with their job too. Ed's Stereo on Crenshaw used to send their customers' cars to the Five Star to do the tinting job for them.

I once got my cars windows tinted at Auto Effex (sp?) in San Gabriel. They did pretty good job too. But I just didn't feel like driving too far to have it done this time.

Wherever you decide to go, make sure you don't get the cheap one. It's the same with everything else, but you get what you pay for. If you go with lower quality film, it'll peel off very soon regardless of how good workmanship the shop provides.

Yeah they do a real good job, Me and 4 of my other friends had it done there and they all came out real good. The only thing I regret is not paying 30 bucks more and getting the tint with titanium in it. The titanium tint has a lifetime warranty. No I live in La Canada

What kind of deals do these places do on replacements if the cops make you take off the front sides?

the BEST will cost a little bit. i paid KAI (old japanese man been doing it for 35 yrs), a friend in Rosemead $200 for all around lifetime tint. he took off my door panels and back panels to make sure the tint went below the rubber seals (that's why tints peel off). i have no regrets, no bubbles. email me if you wanna know more.

 

what if i get pulled over because the front tint? do i have to remove the front tint? will the tint shop do it free for me? or i need to pay extra?

the best place i've seen is pro-tint, i've had many friends going there, and do a VERY nice job, and lots to select form.... thats where im getting my window tint soon...
