Anyone know what the legal limit for tint is for Massachusetts? Is it 35 percent or 50 percent? Thanks.

35% on all windows except windshield, which can't have anything except for the top 6". And not that our TLs are affected, but you must also have two outside mirrors. Those cars with only one cannot have any tint.

There is also a medical exemption. With a doctor's prescription and Registrar's approval you can get darker tint on the windows and can tint the windshield.

Yeah, he's right - here's off a website that lists the regulations for each state:

Massachusetts

Visor..................................8"

Front doors.......................35%

Rear doors........................35%

Back window.....................35%

I got my tint at Fields Corner Glass in Dorchester. They did my side windows and rear windshield for $210. They did a pretty good job. But if you live bear umass amherst, i hear there is a plce up there that is pretty good and only charges $50 for the tinting.

There are actually a few out there, but I just grabbed the info off the first one I found. I looked at a few of the sites, but I found this one to be pretty cool - very informative and has some tips and tricks regarding the dot matrix area as well.
