Tinting, need some advice

Does any one have a pictures of a black 00 TL with a black interior and with the the windows TINTED??? not factory tint, custom tints. I am getting mine done sometime next week, just want to see what it would look like. Can't decide what shade to go with. If you have pics, please email them to me or just post it. Thanks a bunch!

if by shade you mean that silver shit on a tint then DONT do it, a TL wouldnt look good with that, get plain 20% or whatever mirror tint, make sure that the place that will do it has a Cutting Machine that will make pricise cuts of the film, thus you will have perfect cuts that will cover your windows with tint to the very edge.

The only crappy thing about tinting a TL is the Antenna on the rear window which is hard to tint cauz it stands out after tinting.

Hopefully you can make out the windows. fronts - 20% rear/back - 35%.

That's odd, generally, and due to varying state laws, most people have their rear/back windows tinted darker than their fronts.

Tek, that's a nice ride, how dark did you get it? 20% front and rear? That's what I was thinking 20% all around. To think about it, just to make legal, I think I am going to 20 rear and 35 front, maybe it's the other way around. Whatever makes the front a bit lighter than the rear.

Thank you RROCKETTTT

i have too post new pix of my car, i did a few significant changes.

umm, i got 20%, when i go thru a check point i lower all my window and open my sunroof, and even if they ask to raise a window up i get away with it, either cauz i have a PBA card, or because i dont let them bullshit me, if i dont see the tint machine checker, believe me, i will be bullshitting that my tint is 35% all around... pluys its only a 50 dollar ticket, unless the cop is a real ass and gives you on for every window, it happend on my Maxima.

some cop pulled me over and told me that all tints are illegal, and that if factory it must be 70%... I told the guy to PLEASE give me a ticket, so we can both go to court, where I would win cauz i told him that he is a putz. (not in those words)

Front must be visible, so 35% and higher, the back doesnt matter.

That might be okay, but it just depends on your STATE law. I'm not sure what Colorado's is, since you state your location as Boulder, but all laws can be found online. In Kansas it's 35% all the way around, and I think Colorado's is similar.
