TINT in NYC
TINT in NYC
Hey guys, I want to know where a good place to tint my car in NYC. And what do you guys think, I own a SSM car, 30%, 35%, or 40% tints on my car? Some of my friends said go all the way to 30%, is there really much of a difference. I live in Queens. Thx Guys.
Im giong to do 30 on my ABP. I think 30 is just right. Not to dark that your going to get pulled over all the time and not to light that people can see everything your doing.

If you feel like taking the drive out here.
I don't think they have 30%. These guys do Helmz mercedes, etc. They have 20, 35 and 50. There's a definite difference between these 3 mentioned. To me 50% is like nothing.
here's mine at 20.

do a search on "toronto" also, few more blurbs on this.
pulled over ? depends on cop, luck, profiling, etc. Friend of mine just got nailed for a "loud exhaust" ticket. Jan 31st (quota), red Acura Integra, lowered 2", deep tint.

Did you tint over "the dots" on the rear window, or do the vinyl? I'm getting my '03 done in the next couple of months, and the blackout over the dots is new for me. I didn't do that on my Accord and would like to see it so I can make a decision.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your help.
Best Tire in Great Neck on Northern Blvd. ask for Lou
516.482.1060 No need to take out ur backseat/rear shelf like some morons who own CL's i seen...plus the tint on the windows goes almost all the way to the edge..very factory looking. more pricey than some competitors...but better work..

I dealt with Best Tire once when I bought rims, they made the experience the worst possible...their customer service sucked to the point where I told the owner to take the tires and shove them up his a$$ with the showroom full of customers. Personally I will never send them any kind of business ever!

Agreed, not a fan of Best Tire in GN.
my tint didn't cover the dots. I didn't think of that back then. I can notice, my friends don't, but then again, they don't look for these details. But it does cover the 3rd brake light which I was looking for.
If you request the dots covered (where ever you go), they should be able to accomodate.
Also, I've heard mixed things about parts and polish down the block there (wheels/tires). But I remember them always being pricey.
