alright guys and gals....i got one for ya

on random occasions, i'll start up my 99 TL, put her in drive, no problem....then when i hit the throttle, it hesitates...almost like it's gonna stall, but after maybe 1 or 2 seconds, it kicks in and we're off to the races

like i said, it happens randomly, probably 2 or 3 times out of 20, but it's noticeable to me and i'm worried

i have had my tranny replaced under the extended warranty, not sure if that matters

any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

 

anyone have any ideas.....i wanna catch this "problem" before it gets bigger

 

Personally I would bring my car to my Acura dealer, if you trust them, dealership service stations can screw some people (I worked at a dealership in the past). I had same problems, I also have a 99 TL(best tranny of any TL by the way). I changed my air filter to a Fram Air Hog(awesome air filter, 250,000 mile warranty on it too!!!) I use fuel injector cleaner after every oil change. Also check out spark plugs and wires, maybe time for a complete tune up. Air filter was biggest difference maker, now my car accelerates like it is brand new, huge response difference.
