Aight so I was going back home on a two lane road today from Albertsons and I was on the left lane cruising along when I saw this one passat coming behind me on the right lane hella fast..and I didn't know why. I slowly proceeded and saw some bright blue 350z tailgating him like a mofo. Eventually when the passat was lined up with my car's tail, i see the freakin 350z going in the emergency lane passing teh passat and giving the finger.. I was like..wtf..and it was some white mom swerving in the right lane like she was drunk..she kept on doing that left right left right and she hella braked and accelerated and shit. Eventually..i made a left turn to go back home..but i was thinking ..could I have taken taht 350z? My Acura TL-S is stock..and i know the 350z is hella fast..but what about a convertible? Aren't they way more heavier? I hate that shit when they try to annoy people on the street by pulling stunts like that.

03 TL-S: you should know your stats-260/232, 6.2, 14.6, 1.5ton (Yes, EVEN THE CONVERTIBLE)

My man, stock vs stock, is a no contest for the 350Z. Unless you are modded, say 1-2Gs+ in engine bolt ons or NOS the 350 will treat you like weed baby! As shown, there is not much of a difference in weight (200lbs)

Um, the convertibles ARE slower but not that much maybe two tenths of a second. Couldn't find exact numbers, but that's usually about the difference between any hardtop and convertible.

Depends on the car, and how it was designed. The convertible C5 vette only weighs a few ounces more than the coupe, unlike the previous gen C4's which were like a hundred pounds or so heavier.

Going to the track this weekend to meet up with a friend who just got a 350Z. Don't know if it's the touring or track version but it is a 6 speed. I know I'll probably get killed but I want to make it a close race. I'm hoping for 2 things: that he's not too familiar with his car yet and he's not the best shifter in the world yet. This should be fun
