yea you dont need to take off the front bumper. There are clips that pop off on the bottom of the car.. you can just stick a flathead screw driver in the plug and pops off.. then you can just pull tha plastic down and out of the way.. and slide the intake up that way.

here are the clips im talking about...

here is more info on it from Chod's site...step by step also pictures.

it is easier to do it with the bumper off, but it's not totally necessary.

If you don't take the bumper off it will be easier to jack the car up of put it on a lift. You will have to remove the stock resonator box which is quite large and if the car is on the ground, it may be tricky to get it completely out.

I need to know also. Last time I bought 5 from the dealer cause I needed them right away and it came out close to $10! So if you could tell us the part #, brand, and what store, I really appreciated.

Thanks!

The clips aren't Honda/Acura specific clips?? I had to buy 4 at $2 each from the dealer from busting a few dirt clogged ones

We know what chuckstl got is not oem but if it fits then it's fine with me. It's only clips so I really don't care if it's not oem. I only care if it fits (plus it's way cheaper) instead of getting rip off by the dealer.

Acura 3200 and Blackshadow - sorry to take so long to respond. I went to the garage to look at the box of clips and it is plain, no numbers at all! But I got it by going to the local body shop supply store (auto parts store, found it in the phone book) with one clip and he matched it right up. He probably had 150 types. The ones I got were not perfectly the same, but plenty close enough to do the job. Cost was 25 clips, $4.95.

Thanks for the info. I am going to take a clip with me to an auto parts store to see if they have them. 25 clips for $4.95 is WAY CHEAPER than 5 clips for $10.
