i just got a cls and i notice on the cl site alot of tranny problems.(cl-com is down right now) anyway , for those who have had tranny problems, whats the 1st thing you noticed? the tls and cls do have the same tranny right? mine shifts very smooth as of now. 2001 cls w 21k. i just wish we could get a recall. although i see alot of problems with these cars i still love it and will continue to do so. i just want the warning signs to the tranny problems. thanks guys...

 

The first thing I noticed -- holding onto gears a little too long before shifting (Like from 1st to 2nd) and a little slip between gears (usually between 2nd and 3rd) much like a poor shift w/ a manual transmission.
