are you hearing noises when the car is on the road? excessive tire wear? if not then they are most likely still good. I got 110K on mine and they are still in great shape

left or right side? inspect that site and make sure that there are no worn parts. strut bearing plates also need to be checked.

Check your motor mounts as well. Others had the clunking and replaced huge chunks or all of the suspension parts just to find out it was motor mounts.

The endlink should twist like that. Those look fine. I would look at your upper ball joints and lower ball joints. See if they have any play in them. You will probably need a prybar to get some leverage but see if you get any movement out of them.

Thanks for your responses

Thanks for your response guys. Good to know that the end links should move around like that.

The clunking is really really bad now. I can't go over any bump without feeling like my wheels are going to fall off. Even the slightest bump makes a noise. Big bumps make me feel like i'm driving a 50 year old car (to be fair the car is 13 years old but only has 113k miles on it).

I'm not sure how to check the ball joints so will likely have to take it to a mechanic to do that. I will also ask him to check my cv joints.

As for the motor mounts, I thought fixing them will fix the problem, too. But after replacing the front and rear mounts, the problem still persisted and has become notably worse. I bot the side mount too, but when I took the old one off it was in tact so I left it in.

Thanks!

DONT drive the car if the noise is really bad. Jack up the front of the car, and place it on jack stands, yank on the knuckle (the part that attaches to the upper and lower control arm. See if you get any play by the ball joints. You may need to put a prybar in between for more leverage. There should be no up and down or sideways movement at the ball joint.
