Hello everyone. I am taking my car to the dealer for the first time. Is there anything I can ask them to fix for me. Other than the squeaks from the seats and belts.
My car has 5000 miles.

I have a seat rattle on my TLS that has 1k miles on it. ALmost seems as if the left rail is loose, I can wobble the seat with my hand to duplicate the sound.

Taking it in next week.

Have you had the power window and seat belt recalls done? If not, have them done.

Otherwise, are you having any problems with the car? If so, have the problems checked out.

On my first visit I made them replaced my smearing wipers. Another visit, broken bose speaker badge in the center (they replace the whole grille. That's about it, and I finally got the sunroof rattle which I will tell them next time I go in for my oil change. I just tell them any problem I have each time I get an oil change. My oil change is free for 2 years.

The affected early production TL-S and possibly TL-P during same time period. (March/April 2001). If you are asking re your 99, you are off the hook.

Otherwise, the power window relay would control the auto down function on the drivers door. Apparently humidity penetrated the electronics and the relay did not always stop the window properly.

The seatbelt recall was for a potentially defective latch on the front seats. Incidently, Honda/Acura seatbelts are warrantied forever. I just had new front latches put on my 87 Legend with 210K miles. Total cost $0.00: Covered under warranty.

Take a look at your exhaust pipes. Are they level?

*ALL* US manufacturers have to warranty their seatbelts for the life of the vehicle - Federal Law.

Many TL's have the vibrating feel when braking. I believe its warped breaks some sh_t like that. If you notice your car doing it have them fix it...

If not, make sure they fix it correctly. When I painted the Y pipe last weekend, I noticed the LH exhaust hanger was not connected. Apparently, that's how they "fixed" my tailpipes. With both hangers connected they are crooked again.
