XS headers are $100, the strutbar is about $200, slightly more if new. The spacers aren't over $200 either.

not trying to thread jack, but XS headers sound really good for $100.. does anyone have any input on them? I remember hearing that they cracked for some people..just don't have the money to do comptech headers. another route i was thinking was DC Sports.

yes i know i can find this by searching, but might as well add it to the post. What would the typical gains be from headers? and is there any difference in gains from the different brands?

from what i've seen, xs headers are either a hit or miss, i've seen people having no problems and would swear by them, and some that would beat the makers with rotten corpse if they had the chance.
for 200 you can get a set of lowering springs, not too sure how it would affect your shocks but it would give it a nice drop.
thermoblock spacers are nice too, i havent seen anyone testifying for or against it tho.
then there's the legend 2 piston calipers that a lot of people are doing, i have no idea what else you would need, but i think you can get it all done for 200

i'm not 100% sure on any of those, but if it's anything that you're interested in, just explore the option a little further and happy modding

in december? so there is no snow in december where you live? man I wanna move south this canadian weather is a BITCH. 6-7 months out of the year is winter man, like WTF. Cant even have a good car to enjoy cuz most of the time its got to be parked, and even after all the snow melts you have to wait for a month for them to clean the sand they were putting on the roads the whole winter.

Headers give the most bolt-on power for our cars.

yeah headers are the best power gainers you can get next to like some forced induction or nitrous. im not completely sure but the numbers ive seen thrown around were like 18 for tl-p and up to 30 or something for a tl-s
