The passenger taillight does not work when I turn on the lights, but does work for the brakes. I am a newbie but willing to try to fix this myself. Any ideas or advice, wiring diagrams, etc?

Thanks for the reply, but I took off the trunk covers and checked. All the bulbs work.

 

Can you elaborate on "all the bulbs work"? For the brake lights, since they are dual-filament, there are two separate wires that light up... one for under braking (brighter) and one for just lights on (less bright). The warning indicator only shows up on the dash of the filament for the brakes. I've had 2 bulbs recently that burned out for the lights-filament but not brakes and I didn't find out until a friend pointed it out while driving behind me.

Bulb replacements are really cheap esp. if you order online... try www.autolumination.com I get my bulbs from there too.

 

Went to AutoZone, six bucks for bulbs, complete in 1 minute. Cool
