hey i was wondering if anybody knows the correct bulb number for the tail light bulbs and the front and rear turn signal bulbs...can u get led's for these..thanks

 

sorry no one has replied to your thread, please know its not for any bad reasons, only because no one on the boards can remember what the hell the bulb numbers are, including me

 

I'm not sure off the top of my head what the #'s are for these lights. Hell, you can go to Wal-Mart to find out, among MANY other places. One thing though, you do NOT want to put those stupid LED lights in your TL tail's. They are not designed for these and look like CRAP!!! They will NOT look like the 04 TL's, new Caddy's, etc!!!

 

Taillight bulbs are 7443, Rear Turn sigs is 7440 if you have a 99-01 TL or 1156 bulb if you have a 2002-2003 TL, Front turn sig are 1157. You can get these in LED but LEDs have hot spots and hard to see during the day so not recommoned plus they hyperblink unless you put load resistors in.

As mentioned above those are the tailight and rear signal bulbs, do go for the LEDs as you need to put in the resistors. The resistors heat up, just like the bulbs so you have to be sure to have them installed correctly. The LEDs SUCK, during the day, you can't see them very well.
