Taillight bulbs

I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems with their taillight bulbs buring out prematurely. I've had to replace 3 bulbs in the last 6 months or so. Is there a problem I need to address or should I just replace as needed. I have a '99 TL and don't know if they're just going out normally. Also, I'm not sure if I've had to replace the same one once, or if they've all been different ones. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 99 TL with the same problem and I also replaced my bulbs twice in the last 6 months. Last week i took my car to inskip of acura to get worked on and I had them check out the ground wires & whatever else could be wrong with it . They told me that everything was fine and they also replaced them...

After I replaced all bulbs (within 2 weeks), they've been fine - over a year now.

I have a 2000 TL, and all of the taillight bulbs recently went out over the space of about 2 months.

One lesson learned. It takes a fair amount of pressure, and you will hear a loud click, when seating the new bulbs. I replaced 3 bulbs in the first round, and when I looked two days later - they're out (the "brake lights" idiot light clued me into the problem)! Turns out I didn't get them into the sockets far enough for the "click." Had to remove the taillight assemply to retrieve one of the bulbs, that had come loose and dropped into the assembly...

I also have a '99 TL and had the same problem! They would fluctuate as to which ones would be out, and then they eventually all burned out. I found out that it was a wiring issue in the '99s and it was covered under my warranty. Even if you are out of warranty, I can't imagine that it costs a lot of money to fix...but what do I know.

It's good to know other people are having the same problems, albeit easily fixed ones.
