I have a 2001 TL and my friend noticed that the outer left red bulb on my left rear tail light is burnt out. Have not looked at all, but am curious if this is going to be a pain to fix or if it is relatively straightforward in switching out he bulb for another. Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

 

very easy. just remove the upper net hook .it may make it easier if you pull the trunk floor carpet out, then remove the 4 plastic screws on the plastic load over cover and lift that straight up. then pull the carpet back and reach your hand in and remove the bulb
